Whas Neo?
In May of last year two of the show's original five hosts; Mo'Kha and Monie J, returned to the blogtalkradio community. They dubbed themselves "The Flo-ectic Duo". They returned with a stimulating revamped and artistically innovative format. While they still maintain some of the staples that made the show unique; One Speech Announcements and "Did U Neo?", they added a few new twists; The Inkwell which showcases self published authors, Verbal Jones spotlights various poets and spoken word artists, live performances and tracks from their CD's and 4Play which brings you the music and in depth interview of independent musical artists. They also kept the "Open Mic Night" newly titled "Sucka Free Speech".
What's "Different" about our show?
Neo-Lystically Speaking is not a vanity stage. It is a vibrant, pioneering show for artistically inclined listeners. It is our intention to provide a platform for independent artists, poets, spoken word artists and self-published authors who are carving their niches in the cyber cafes across the web. We further hope to not only share and expose these artists and their unique gifts, but to inspire other aspiring artists as well as, insight growth as creative individuals.
