A native of Chicago raised in Nebraska and currently residing in Las Vegas, she is diligently working on a book comprised of poetry, prose and personal insights, to be released in the summer of 2010.

Monie Jimneye is a Spoken Word artist, who is a Las Vegas native. She presently lives in Chicago, IL and works as a personal trainer. She has a very robust and audacious outlook on life and her art. Her delivery has been described as " Raw and in your face." Just as many modern day poets, MJ draws inspiration from the passion and reality in life's many encounters.
